> Gary praised in NLP letter
Posted by Marks - 09-5-10 17:03 - 2 comments
Letter, well an email, from a Jim Taylor was published in the NLP paper today. He says that he had the pleasure of witnessing an interesting, skilful and competitive encounter on Bank Holiday Monday at Hemel Hempstead. He goes on to praise the referee's handling of the game and then says:

".....But I also admired the manner in which the visitor's manager Gary Roberts conducted himself.
He advised and organised his team from the technical area in a dignified and constructive manner, while not slagging off the opposition or the officials. His players responded.
Both these gentlemen were a credit to the Non-League game....."

Well said Mr Taylor, it's something we know well and all credit to Gary and the team in this regard. It's part of what makes being a supporter so pleasurable at Milton Road. That and watching the entertainment from the less than dignified away bench from time to time, Oh and being top of the league.........

There 8th in the league with 3 wins (Vs Didcot, Cirencester and Swindon) 1 draw (Vs Brackley) and 2 loses (Vs Halesowen and Sailsbury). A game we really should be winning with our current form is it not.
