Going back a few decades to when I played for Cambridge City Schoolboys Cricket team(!!!) we played on most College Grounds, and Pembroke is on Grantchester Road(off Barton Road) more or less opposite Cambridge Rugby Club.

Pembroke is on Grantchester Road(off Barton Road) more or less opposite Cambridge Rugby Club.

Spot on Clive. There are two other college playing grounds in that location, Downing and St Catharine's. Pembroke is sandwiched between them.

Teenage Reserve outfit did well to draw with Cherry Hinton 1 1 last week and I have heard we were unlucky not win the game . This Friday they play Cambridge United at St Catherines (6 .30)and that will be a real test for them . Could be a good game to watch .

City Res 2 Cambridge United Youth 0. Both goals from diminutive winger Joey Nicholson. United had a lot of possession but City defended well and looked dangerous on the break . Our lads took their chances and United didn't. Good moral booster with 1st Home league game on Wed 18th August v Gt Paxton . Well done lads .
