As August approaches, most sensible people start to worry about what song will be number one at Christmas.

I have recently set up my own lo fi recording studio (well actually it's a shed) and am happy to provide a free day's recording for anyone who'd like to record a track in there to release at Christmas in order to raise money for the club. I also have means of copying CDs cheaply, getting tracks on i-tunes etc and printing artwork, so I reckon if we could find someone with an idea for a song, we could make a bit of do$h as well as producing some publicity.

I can play guitar, bass, drum machine and punk rock vocals, but I'd much rather other people were involved. What we really need is an original, eye catching non clichéd song.

Anyone got any ideas?

Reply here, grab me at a match or mail rosey@repeatfanzine.co.uk

Thanks

Richard

I can handle some Rock guitar or bass playing! Not good on lead guitar and all those twiddly bits!

That FC United video is class!

I'm sure if we could adapt a song in a similar way, we'd find the people to play it, so keep thinking. Ideas?

At the moment the one I'm thinking would be easiest and most fun to do would be a version of Banana Splits retitled Cambridge City Superstars, also it would amuse me stealing the idea of bunch of turncoat C*rdiff Ciity fans from Swansea who should know better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1ngZmTjRrc
